Another easy and delicious meal to keep your crock pot busy this winter. This one is a mix of sweet and tangy with the BBQ sauce and pineapple – which sounds like it might be a weird combo but it most definitely is not weird, it is delicious.
4 chicken breasts
bottle of BBQ sauce
can of pineapple chunks
rice (whatever you prefer will be fine – white, brown, minute, etc.)
Place chicken, BBQ sauce, and pineapple chunks in the crockpot.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours
At around 5 hours, shred the chicken and return it to the crock pot to let it get some extra soaking up time.
Cook your rice while the chicken is marinating for the last little bit
Serve over rice and enjoy because it’s delicious.
